Leanne Sindell

Managing Director

Leanne Sindell’s financial services career spans thirty years, with more than twenty of them specialized in wholesaling alternative investments to the broker-dealer community. As a managing director at L&S Advisors with a focus on business development, she builds and cultivates relationships with financial advisors seeking portfolio management services for separately managed accounts (SMAs).

Prior to joining L&S, Leanne was director of business development for Shinnecock Partners, where she was responsible for client and broker-dealer relations, as well as marketing strategies serving registered investment advisors (RIAs) and the independent broker-dealer community. Leanne began her financial career as a retail broker with Paine Webber and Wedbush. Since then, she has raised over $2.5 billion in client capital and held numerous senior sales and marketing positions within the securities and managed futures industry.

Alongside her financial career, Leanne has flourished in the publishing, IP development, and design communities. As founder of TLI/IPM, a literary agency, she represented clients such as Yahoo! and various business thought leaders. As a commercial illustrator represented by Langley Creative in Chicago, IL, she created content for such clients as Forbes.com and Hallmark.

Leanne studied at universities in Sweden, England, France, and the U.S., graduating with a degree in design from Studio Bercot in Paris. She has achieved the Series 7, 65, 3, 22, and 63 licenses. She is proficient in French and Swedish.

On the personal side

Leanne lives with her husband in the Napa Valley and loves spending time with family.

She is passionate about helping the elderly, hungry, and homeless. She volunteers her time and resources to charities dedicated to these needs, including Meals On Wheels and Project Open Hand, among many others.

Something you may not know about Leanne

When Leanne married her husband, she not only gained four stepsons, she also became the mom of a wild rescued jackrabbit (a hare not to be confused with a bunny) who was the star of their household for an amazing eight years.
